The Britleys School at The Wharf

"On the first day that I dropped off my child at Britley's, my heart stopped. It was her first day at her first school, and I was worried. However, I was soon amazed by the details that the teachers shared with me after class. They made me feel confident about my child's well-being. The teachers are great, and the care provided is tailored to each child's needs and readiness. The etiquette lessons, dance classes, math and science, language, special events, and most importantly, education carried over to our home, making for a positive and fun experience. I am so grateful for the teachers at Britley's who have helped my child become the best version of herself. Thank you for giving her love."

The Britleys has found (or created) that magic recipe for a wonderful preschool. We experienced The Britleys before, during, and after Covid and consider ourselves truly lucky to have been a part of the school with our kids. They take full advantage of their location, turning places like the fish market and Smithsonian into everyday field trips and learning experiences. The space is bright and clean. The teachers are so special that we still have photos of our kids with their teachers scattered throughout our house as a reminder of how great their experience was there. We still cant make oatmeal as well as The Britleys did. Our thanks and love to Gloria and the whole team.

The Britleys has been an amazing place for my son, the teachers are so caring and the school administration is so helpful. They provided excellent care and learning for early childhood education. They fostered my son's growth and taught him all kinds of new things, even how to read at such an early age (he's only 3!) I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a first class educational experience for their child.

We have had a wonderful experience with The Britleys at both locations for about 18 months. Our son has flourished there, and has shown passion in reading, counting, dancing, foreign languages, and a variety of social interactions. The staff are engaging and deeply interested in the children's well being. I have personally benefited from their advice and feedback and am grateful that my son has been exposed to yoga and etiquette lessons! It is adorable to watch them apply this knowledge. Gloria and her team put a lot of thought into the instruction and care for the kids and they are very communicative on a range of topics. I wish I had known about Britleys for my older kid!

Our children have absolutely thrived at The Britleys School! The teachers are incredibly thoughtful about their lesson planning and intentional about setting the students up for success in all areas of life. We are grateful for the care and attention The Britleys staff puts in to growing and shaping young minds their passion shines through in everything they do with our children.
