Grief is a very intense and difficult emotion. When my mother died unexpectedly, I truly felt like I had no where to turn and no one understood. Katherine helped me identify, organize, and work through a lot of those initial life-stopping emotions and continues to help me throughout my grief journey. I would recommend her and her team to anyone struggling with grief of any kind. She is extremely calming, caring, and intelligent and is a gift to the grieving community.

Katherine is amazing and she has helped me so much. We live in such a grief phobic society where no one wants to talk about loss past the funeral of your person and it can be extremely isolating and painful and wear at your soul over time. Katherine has taught me so much and helped me find compassion for myself in my grief and recognize which of my thoughts are trauma and grief vs my true feelings. With her help the nightmares I had for 20 years have stopped and Ive been able to navigate grief by celebrating my person and our love and also allowing myself to grieve with compassion instead of judging myself. It is so important to find a therapist who is trained in grief therapy. Grief is not anxiety or depression. It is not something you can fix. And in my past experience working with therapists and spiritual counselors who were not grief educated did much more harm than good. Katherine is specifically trained to help people navigate grief and she is brilliant, highly compassionate, and kind. She has cared for me with grace, warmth, and humor. I look forward to our sessions and find great comfort even in the most difficult times knowing that she is in my corner and someone understands. For anyone reading this, Im so sorry youre a part of this terrible club of losing someone special. It sucks and its not fair. But there is a way forward. And you are worth figuring it out. Katherine has helped me find my way forward and I know she can help you too.
