Loved the experience of communicating using sort of sign language (in my case). The attendant was super sweet and attentive.

I had no idea that this location has deaf employees. I am very impressed with how I was very well taken care of as someone who does not know sign language. I was given a pad to write down my order and the whole experience was flawless. My food and brownie is delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming and chill. Great job Starbucks of H Street NE :)

Such a beautiful place. Ive never seen a store like this - inclusive of the deaf community and still easy to order and do your typical Starbucks run. Its the signing store, so its super quiet and if you dont sign, you can write your order or order ahead. Theres no music and folks are typically respectful about keeping it a nice and quiet place. Ive loved spending time here with my newborn. Ive also learned quite a bit of sign language from my visits! The staff is also so friendly. And of course, the Starbucks treats are always delicious. This is my go-to place!
