We as a family have been going to this Art store for decades (since early eighties) very unfortunate that it is hardly open now days. The old man working there is friendly and professional at what he does. Good negotiable prices.

My children are all artist and weve shopped at Abstract for 20 years or more easily! The owner is so kind that whenever my children are home they visit because they can always find the art supplies they need but mostly for the opportunity to converse with the owner.

A gem of an art supply store. I feel fortunate to have this place in the neighborhood; just walking in you can tell it's got something special. Lots of unique art supplies as well as the basic essentials. Good prices, very sweet owner. Opened in the 1970s, I hope this store is here for years to come!

A true gem of an art supply store. This is the kind of store that, as an artist, I walk into an feel instantly inspired. Like a kid in a candy shop. Lots of unique items for sale. The prices are good and the owner is lovely and sells a little bit of everything. His store has been in Brookland since the 1970s, around the same time the beloved Murry & Paul's diner opened. Definitely worth the visit.
