        They are super rude. Today I tried to contact them to inform them that the vehicle I wanted to sell them was no longer in my possession and at the same time to prevent them from coming and wasting their time coming to pick up the vehicle. When I called it was 9:15 in the morning, my appointment with them was at 6pm and the person who answered me began to question me about the reason why I wanted to cancel my appointment. I answered that the vehicle is no longer in my possession. to which he answered annoyed: "you sold it!! and I said "yes" and he cut off the call without even asking for information about the appointment to cancel it.

        I tried to sell them my 2019 Mirage 66k miles, and all ima say is if your car is not perfect please find someone else. They sent out an inspector on minimum wage to inspect my car and she thought it was knocking because the engine was louder then normal lmao. I took the car to CARBUYERUSA who THOROUGHLY INSPECTED IT and they gave me $6900. Remember this car was supposedly knocking in her words. Whipflip wanted to offer like $1 or $2k. I cant even remember because the offer was so awful. Save your time! Carvana and CarbuyerUSA will gladly be your best friend!

      ****This is from a competitor/wholesale flipper****** and are happy to defend our assessment and decision not to engage. This vehicle was recently sold a week or so ago at a dealer auction. Their report shows major mechanical issues which this customer did not disclose to us. Upon inspection and a diagnostic scan, it was clear the engine was knocking and was showing multiple faults for timing chains needing replacement which is a major expense. Backing out was the best option for us. If you sold to another company and they missed these obvious issues, then it looks like they missed and will lose upon resale. Congrats, you got one over on them. For us, we buy mostly imperfect cars from regular consumers who are upfront and disclose major issues such as these in which there is never a surprise in the offer. That is who we serve, not a street wholesaler or pseudo competitor trying to get one over on us. While a 1 star review is very rare for WhipFlip and unwanted, this review shows a better look into our transparent process and who we focus on buying cars from and who WhipFlip does not wish to serve.
