Gary Mehta, CPA, EA : Accountant of Delaware

BUYER BEWARE - If I could give Gary zero stars I would. I sought his advice on a multistate tax issue, and he 1. misrepresented what he would do to help, 2. framed it as if I had options (I did not), and 3. failed to sign my tax return as a paid preparer. After a series of phone calls and emails with Gary I sought a second opinion because I had lost confidence in his professional capabilities. I sent him a follow up message to address these issues, but it wasn't until I filed a complaint with the BBB that he actually responded. His claim is that my email went to SPAM...yeah right. Plus, when questioned, he completely missed the point of my complaint. I'm posting this here to hopefully save someone else the headache - I should've trusted my gut at the beginning....he's sketchy.

Outstanding service. Responsive and effective. Resolved an issue in days that took others months to address. Highly recommend.

Sent multiple inquiry emails about two weeks ago and received no reply. After searching, found multiple listings with this guy's name on google maps on different states, seems sketchy. Edit to reply to the response: You would have an idea if you checked your email, it's not a fraudulent review.

Gary Mehta is a knowledgeble CPA, and I highly recommend reaching out for his guidance for those trying to figure out how fill out those confusing tax forms. He is not only professional and reliable, but most importantly he knows his field. Look forward to working with him again!
