Insulation4US

Ordered Owens Corning mineral wool insulation back in November 2022 since it was way cheaper here than anywhere else. Thankfully I work slowly... it took 6 months for delivery after tons of back and forth with the rep. Ended up 1 bag short, never get refund, wasn't worth any more of my time. Overall acceptable product (will go with Rockwool next time over OC brand) at a very good price. However, I would not recommend using Insulation4us unless you have tons of time and flexibility and willing to sacrifice reliability to save a few $$. Likely will not use again despite the savings.

Very clear, they sent me the wrong material that cost me additional time and effort. Took 2 weeks of constant phone calls, chat and emails to get the difference of the cost back. And, they still charged me for the delivery of the wrong material. Should have been a no-brainer to get the delivery cost back, but so far - no help whatsoever. Very frustrating. Thankyou for your response to my response - My answer to the first question. the material was shrink-wrapped and bundled with no visible way to see the specifics other than it was insulation until the day of the installation (as I'm sure you're aware). Opening at the time of receiving would have expanded the material significantly. To you question of calling when I found out, yes indeed I called, chatted and emailed with no inital and later limited respons . There was no way to send back since I had the installers here at that time and had to pay for them regardless. Because it was the wrong size, even with metal stays, it kept falling out of the ceiling, which took longer. The same size, but faced was available at Home Depot which would have saved me and crew hours, but that was the material I had. I do not accept your response -I ask you, does make sense to require someone to pay for the shipping of the wrong material that I could not open when delivered and that cause me hardship? If your answer is yes, then this post has done its job and buyer beware.

I am finishing a large DIY project. I installed 2" polyiso foam on my post and beam barn on the roof and the sides. I came up 8 sheets short. I couldn't find this quantity anywhere and (mistakenly) decided to buy a full pallet (24 sheets) since I was in a real bind for the material. I immediately had buyers remorse big time and felt I should have worked harder trying to find only the 8 sheets I needed. I spoke with Fiona at Insulation4US and she was kind and understanding. She cancelled my order and worked to find just a few sheets for me - in just 24 hours. In the end I was able to get 8 sheets of a different brand locally. Fiona worked hard for me and was very pleasant to deal with. I will definitely use Insulation4US in the future. Thank you Fiona.
