So, I moved into Residences at Rodney Square with my boyfriend, and Ive got to say, the apartment and the area are pretty awesome. Safe vibes all around, which is a big plus. But, getting settled in was a bit of a rollercoaster, thanks to a few hiccups with management. First off, moving day was a bit of a mess. Had to wait over an hour just to get my keys because management decided that was the perfect time for a long lunch break. And some of the cleaning stuff I asked for over two weeks prior to move? Yeah, didn't really happen. Parking was another adventure. Theyve got this long waitlist for a spot, so they hand me this list of alternatives. Sounds helpful, right? Not so much. The number for one place didnt work, another spot had no clue we could use their garage, and then there was this wild goose chase with an app for monthly parking that just led to more confusion. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a circus trying to sort out parking, and we ended up street-parking for a couple of days until we figured it out ourselves. Wish I could say management was more on the ball and welcoming. Sometimes it feels like youre bothering them just by showing up. But props to Ricardo, the new property manager. The guys really trying, even though he's been thrown in the deep end without much help. In a nutshell, Residences at Rodney Square is great if youre looking at just the apartment and the neighborhood. But be ready for some management-induced headaches along the way. Would be awesome if things were a bit more organized and if the management vibe was more happy to see you than oh, its you again.

This place is easy to move into. The people that work here are wonderful. Dustin is a gem. The front desk staff have all been really kind (I get a ton of mail and packages-they should be mean to me and they are not!) They update the residences often if there are any issues or routine maintenance needed. I havent experienced anything less than 5 stars.

So this is a throw away account because I still live here and I dont want any issues but here is an honest review based on MY experience. My apartment is nice. I do feel its a bit expensive for what it is. I also would not consider it luxury but it is a safe, clean, decently maintained building with a concierge. They also have frequent building get togethers, the staff is friendly, and it is pet friendly. The negative: Because there are pets and irresponsible owners there is almost constantly dog pee in the elevators. If this happens during the week then itll usually get cleaned fast HOWEVER if its the weekend then it sits there until it dries and the elevator will smell all weekend. This happens every single weekend. They also pee in the lobby. When you ask a concierge they say they do not have access to a mop so you have to stand in urine to come downstairs. Multiple times there has been vomit over the weekend and theyll put the elevator out of order so youll only have the one front elevator for the whole weekend. It doesnt make sense to me to not have a cleaning person on the weekend or give the concierges access to a mop? The gym equipment isnt the best. I think for the prices of rent we could get better and more equipment. There isnt always a concierge at the door. This is okay except that sometimes Amazon will leave your package outside and it can easily get stolen because they cant get into the building. You also cant get any packages that have been delivered that day if its after midnight-8AM OR if a concierge doesnt show up for their shift (pretty frequent on the weekends) I had to wait 5 hours to get a package that was locked away once. I wish there was a tenant council to join so we can discuss the issues with management without fear of repercussions. I will say Dustin (PM) is pretty willing to listen. Over all I think that if you can afford this place then maybe try to budget and see if you can get into an actual luxury building. But its not bad if you have to live here.
