        Edie is wonderful to work with. She is extremely helpful and kind. The unit was clean and the facility is safe. I would use this storage company again in the future for my any of my storage needs.

        I recently stopped in to rent a small space after moving to the local 55 and over community. I had looked at this facility about a year ago and decided against it due to the lack of security. The gate was, and still is, broken in the up position. I mentioned to the manager, Edie that I was concerned as I would hesitate to go to the rental space alone. She was completely understanding regarding my concerns and told me she would do her very best to remedy the situation. I look forward to hearing back from her. She was beyond professional and extremely helpful.

        Staff is great however the property managers and owners refuse to fix there gate. This gate has been up for 6 months. My neighbor here at storage was just robbed and now he has to move. I am leaving as well , just looking for a new storage facility. If you dont care about your stuff then fine but if you care about your stuff I wouldnt come to abc storage. Bad security.

        I have been with ABC Storage smyrna de for a while but it's a shame it's gone way down hill because of unresponsive property owners. The on-site people are great but they done own the place. There security gate has been stuck up 24/7 for at least 5 months maybe more. Well my storage unit was robbed. Don't want to hear did you have insurance because I'm tired of victim blaming. The thieves are scum. Anyway called the owners Main they give you a crying talk about how hard it is to fix there gate blah blah. Anyway I secured another storage at Smyrna Self Storage on Glenwood Ave in smyrna de. Been trying to get into this storage for years and luck would have it. Much more secure and owned & run by a family not a conglomerate of lawyers. Anyway just disgusted by ABC. If there was a way to give a zero star I would

      Hi Janice. I am sorry about the gate problem. We have to wait for comcast to re-route a line from the old office to the gate. Also a water line has to be dug up but the town can't tell us where it is. It's been a nightmare trying to get this work done.

      You are absolutely right Tony. We have had so many issues with our gate system and have tried everything our electricians, gate company and software techs could try to fix the unique problem we have in this storage yard. We have replaced circuit boards, updated software many times, and replaced the entire keypad system and control boxes in the office. We have had the gate working off and on during this time but every time we think we've got it, it fails again. However, we are about to make some changes that will fix our gate problems once and for all. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustrations you and all our tenants have endured while we work this problem out. Your lack of confidence in us at this time is understandable.
