The best pancakes Ive ever had. The food is loaded with flavor. Its not like most vegan restaurants. The portions are huge. So well worth the price. Highly recommend

Of all the searches that I've done for vegan options in the Dover area, somehow this restaurant finally populated in my search results, and I'd been eager to try it ever since. As of right now, the hours are super limited for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, so I've suffered with patience since discovering this place exists on a Monday morning... It was worth the wait!!! The food served at "Believe it... It's Vegan!" has the seasonings that makes my Southern heart happy and Chef Jenesis feeds you like you're family; you can feel the love in that food. I will say that I was absolutely worried about the mention of a two hour wait time in the reviews, so my husband and I set out to arrive ASAP after their published opening time, and I am VERY happy we did! The wait time was still pretty lengthy with arriving early, and the crowd came slowly but surely, but the wait staff were pleasant and present to ensure we didn't need anything while waiting, and the food came out hot and fresh, absolutely justifying EVERY minute of wait time. It took us around 35 minutes to get our food, and the moment the food came to our table the wait made complete sense I snatched a few pictures to capture the location as well as the food that we chose and, without a doubt, this place is an absolute gem. Eating a Vegan diet, I'm accustomed to eating big meals and being satisfied and not stuffed full, but eating a third of my serving of the DELICIOUS Pancos (pancakes + tacos, stuffed with well seasoned vegan eggs, bacon, sausage, and house fried potatoes...YUM!) I was ready for a nap. I also nabbed a piece of the po' boy sandwich my husband ordered (it's worth noting that he is not Vegan, doesn't prefer plant-based substitute foods, and he was really impressed with his meal) and, y'all, the potions are SO large and the food is SO rich in flavor! Also, the textures of all the food was just right (eating plant based, the texture is a particularly big deal), and those humongous, delicious Belgian chocolate chip cookies?! I'm coming back JUST for those! PLEASE, see the photos lol I wanted to share the interior a bit of the restaurant as well as the food, and share a little secret... inquire about purchasing a bottle of the chef's pancake mix to keep the good times going because those pancakes were the best I've had in a very long time (the pancake mix wasn't advertised, or on display, but I had time to research online while I waited for them to open between Monday and Saturday lol, so I inquired... I posted a picture of the bottle I was able to purchase to reference the size... I'm very happy ). Also, if you have a sweet tooth, give the California Dreamin' juice a try because it's yummy and VERY sweet! Altogether, don't hurt yourself, but run full speed to try this restaurant, and believe it for yourself (pun intended!) there's really a Vegan restaurant in Kent county Delaware, and it's ABSOLUTELY FIRE Vegetarian options: The full menu contains no animal products. Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant menu is vegan, with no animal products being used, and they also have gluten free options.

Ummm, ok, wow. We stopped at this restaurant on a long drive between Virginia and NYC and it was a great decision. The food is incredible, and Jenesis is rare talent following her dream of bringing fresh and healthy food to her local community. Shed absolutely have a packed restaurant in NYC, but in this small, historic town, things were quiet on the Sunday afternoon that we stopped in. We had the cauliflower, po boy, potatoes, juice, and chocolate chip cookie. Portions are large and we had lots of leftovers. Definitely check this place out if youre local or driving through.
