Wow how arrogant and snobby, who'd thunk the booming metropolis of Smyrna has a dive bar that you need reservations for... we were treated like we had leprosy at 530pm because we had "NO RESERVATIONS ". ITS NOT EVEN ST PATRICK'S DAY. FYI you lost a loyal customer for life.

Very nice pub, nice staff great atmosphere, had the chicken pot pie with flaky pastry, not up to par with their normal fare, pastry was doughy and not at all flaky, the gravy was very runny and the cubes of chicken breast were few and far between, mostly potato cubes which were under done. I was very surprised because their food is normally very good.

First time eating at Sheridans Irish Pub will likely be my last. Pros: Service was good and it was adorable that there are a couple of table bases that were old sewing tables. Also, the water was delicious. The pot pie has a good amount of chicken inside. Cons: We were the first customers in for lunch, so I was expecting stellar food, but nothing came out to temp except the salad. I ordered a cup of potato soup, a side of brussels, and an pot pie. My soup came out barely warm. The taste was okay, but it would have tasted good hot. My salad was fine. My brussels were huge but mostly cold. They weren't really salted and didn't have much seasoning. My pot pie crust was very undercooked and stretchy even though it had some browning on top. The inside of the pot pie wasn't creamy at all, it was straight liquid, that tasted like buttermilk/sour milk/milk with lemon juice in it...it tasted off. It also was only warm. The veggies inside were crunchy, which I didn't mind, but it wasn't good - and this was recommended by my friend and the server. I did not finish everything. I did not eat alone. They also had the brussels. They enjoyed their meal, but did say something about the cook on the brussels; I didn't mind the cook. They did like that they weren't salty. For those that think I tried to get a free meal, I did not complain, I paid my bill in full, and I tipped 20%. But, right now as I am writing this, I do not feel well and wish I had sent at least the pot pie back. Vegetarian options: There are several lacto-vegetarian options on this menu. The majority of them include a heavy dairy cream-based sauce. The brussel sprouts and potato soup can come without the meat toppings. Parking: There is marked parking on the street in front of and next to the restaurant, on Commerce and Main. There are somewhat limited spots, but if you're willing to walk, the spots go up an down the street and up and down the adjacent streets. So there could be plenty of parking, depending on the time of day.
