    I am a REALTOR, just to put that out there. I had first-time new buyers who were interested in the homes, the community and the incentive that was running. In order to take advantage of the incentive it was necessary to use the Lennar Lender. Unfortunately, the disconnect between the lender and the Salesperson was like dealing with 2 separate entities. My buyers were so put off by the "bedside manner," if you will, of the lender and the lack of transparency with what exactly all the closing costs were, that they literally walked away completely from 2 separate Lennar homes. I don't ever want to hear that things can fall between the cracks because the lenders don't work weekends (note to Lennar - people buy homes on the weekends, they don't typically buy homes Mon-Fri between 9a-5p) and the Salesperson is so busy running from communities across the county, that it makes it impossible to have any sense of priority. I had an uneasiness about the process from the start and feel like the Salesperson should be directly engaged with the lender and the customer during the process - not like it is where you're dealing with 2 separate arms that don't know what the other is doing. The settlement fees were exorbinant and I've done dozens of closings. Nothing was fully explained and we never even got to the point of receiving a Purchase Agreement. Huge disappointment to have these buyers step away when a little finesse and attention to their concerns and questions could have saved a deal.

    We were fortunate not to have as many discrepancies as our neighbors, what we found out is that, Lennar will not let you do a pre-inspection walkthrough with a home inspector prior to closing, they have a reason why??? I suggest you check the foundation before you leave to determine if you see air pocket in your flooring foundation. If you putting a deposit on a lot make sure you have your own lender and have a construction expert to check the truss while the framing is being constructed
