Few things to know before making the choice to send you child here: 1. They're a nation wide daycare owned by Apax Partners, a private equity firm. The whole purpose of a private equity firm is to make $$, not educate your child. This is why they feel comfortable raising their rate 3 times in 1 school year. That is unheard of. Pizza Fridays? Where they try and make a profit from selling $2 slices of a $6 Little Ceasers pizza. Best part? If you wish to no longer participate they need a 2 week notice. Ridiculous on so many levels. Literally this building exists to make $$, educating your kid is secondary to that. 2. Our child's lead teacher in the toddler 2 room was mysteriously fired from Cadence, 2 months later she was fired from another daycare and charged with several counts of child abuse. February 2024 you can google it, I won't name drop her here. The leadership at cadence refused to provide any information or any reassurance that no abuse happened to our child under their roof. They actually expected parents to just think that teacher only committed child abuse for the first time AFTER she left cadence. We had to call the state police for any information, which at the time the detective informed us of the many calls they were getting from parents of Cadence, like us. The way they handled that whole situation was terrible, I'm sincerely curious to see how many more 5 star reviews they get after February 2024. 3. I had a 5 and 2 year old enrolled at the same time who appeared to do the same crayon scribble work everyday. My 5 year old was severely behind when she got to kindergarten, it took her so many months to get up to speed and I blame Cadence. My older son was so much more prepared for Kindergarten and thrived immediately going to a different pre school in Middletown. Their curriculum could use some work. But I suppose you can't expect anything more from a place that ultimately rolls up to a private equity firm. There are a few teachers and ONE administrator who are great and genuinely do care, but the leadership with their terrible attitudes, as well as the overt purpose to bleed as much $$ as they can out of you in exchange for a lackluster curriculum......yea, find a different place (I can't speak highly enough about Grow and Learn in Middletown). Don't be fooled by these old 5 star reviews from 2 and 3 years ago from when they were a local Delaware daycare.

I worked here for just over a year. Management doesn't respect the employees. There are 3 admins and all 3 need to take classes on professionalism, respecting the employees, and how to handle rumors. Rumors spreaded like wild fire here. Co teacher was very controlling.

My 4 y/o daughter attended this preschool for approximately 2 months. During the course of her time attending, what seemed to be a very structured, nice school turned out to be nothing short than a nightmare. Starting off, her 4 year old class had close to 25 kids (maybe a couple off) in one classroom, with two teachers. Ive never seen a classroom this big, especially with this age group. At first I figured it would be a good thing, but I realized it became so hard for teachers to know what was going on with the kids in their own classroom. My daughter came home everyday, complaining about bullying (same kid everytime, went to director about this, nothing was done). She was complaint about being hit almost every other day. The teachers would be made aware, how ever NO INCIDENT REPORT or PHONECALL was made to me. I had to bring this up in order for me to actually be notified. Thank god my kid can talk, and actually tell me these things. They do not provide any meals, and all meals are heated up in a microwave for a minute or less. It was extremely inconvenient, and gross. The hallways would always smell like dirty pampers at pick up. It got so bad I contemplated contacting corporate bc I didnt feel my child was safe. Do not recommend this school at all.

The school cares about your money more than your childs education. They had my 3 and a half year old in a 2 year old class due to the fact that her bday is sept 14th and not September 5th. No homework or sight words were ever sent home, only scraps of paper with scribbles on them. My baby was falling behind because she was not learning a thing. She was the ONLY one fully potty trained in her classroom. The teachers are so loving and also the front desk staff Melissa and Holly are amazing but other than that the school is money hungry and my daughter was there for a year and while she was there tuition was raised 3 times. The communication at this school is a 0 out of 10. I would not recommend you bring your tot here.
