The service department is not like it used to be. The service and quality of care has definitely declined.

I give the repair 3 stars and the staff 1 star...I was paying for the repair. Insurance had nothing to do with transaction with Willis. I informed Willis of this and directed that no insurance company needed to or was to inspect my car. Yet they allowed other person's insurance company schedule visit to inspect car against my expressed direction. (I had contacted other person's insurance company and sent 2 estimates for repair. I would get reimbursed after repair completed. So they must have contacted Willis directly, against my wishes.) And this delayed my repair by 2 days. When I asked about this, it was like the person could not understand that the insurance company had no right or need to inspect car since I was paying for repair directly. It seemed Willis was more concerned about the wishes of the insurance company than mine...Radio controls adjusted. Auto AC controls adjusted. And, worse, my driver side door 'Cherokee' logo was not replaced on the car. Unfortunately, I did not notice right right way. Had to replace myself at a cost of about $90. I had my 2010 Silverado in for a coolant system service in early Jan 2023. During this service, I had the coolant flushed, thermostat replacement, and a new heat actuator (over $1200 in costs). Mid Feb while out shopping, I noticed my truck was over heating. This was the first time in over 10 years I have ever seen my truck overheating. A check of the coolant reservoir revealed no coolant in the truck. I took the truck to a local repair shop to be inspected. It was determined that while replacing the thermostat, the seal between the thermostat housing and water pump was pinched and improperly sealed. I was also to that the dealership put the corroded housing back on the truck instead of replacing as needed. I spoke to Willis Chevy about possibly doing the repairs since I just had them service the system, which likely cause the issues. Willis Chevy wanted to tow my truck from Middletown to Smyrna and couldn't guarantee the repairs or the tow that they insisted on would be free of charge to me. I kept my truck at the local shop (Mr Tire) for the repairs. There is better customer service out there at better prices. You just need to call around. Most of the time, when you take your vehicle to the dealership you feel as if you are getting the best possible technicians for your vehicle. Willis Chevy proved this to be false. I will not be returning to Willis Chevy for anything.
