First State Orthopaedics - Kenneth J. Lingenfelter, DO

Ive been with Dr. Lingenfelter since the 1st major back surgery he performed on me in 2017 that was done in an emergency format due to the severity of my situation. Since then, Ive trusted him with the task of doing 2 more major back surgeries in 2018 and 2023. His bedside manner is top notch and he knows his craft inside and out. Hes the only one Id want performing any possible future back surgeries on me and I highly recommend him to anyone who has the same decision to make like Ive had to make. Everyone Ive come into contact with at both of his offices in Newark and Wilmington DE have been nothing less than awesome ! Dr. Lingenfelters PA Debbie is a Rock Star, too ! Thank you all for everything youve done for me !

Debbie is absolutely fantastic. Lingenfelter, on the other hand, is wretched. One of the rudest doctors Ive ever interacted with. Edit to add: it wasnt that our personalities didnt mesh. Its that he was a belligerent, condescending jerk. Come to find out my back pain was life threatening. So grateful I pursued another provider for treatment.

The Dr Lingenfelters office is excellent! He is an awesome doctor and is always a pleasure to see. His staff is very nice and polite. I would gladly recommend Dr. Lingenfelder.
