A friend saw them selling goods at a farmers market and learned they gave tours. We were all visiting from MA and when She told us about it we booked too! Wonderful afternoon walking Alpacas and learning so much from Jose. I highly recommend.

We were in Delaware for our yearly Greyhounds Reach the Beach adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed touring the farm and walking the Alpacas. Elaine and Jose were so enthusiastic about their work and their animals. Highly recommend.

It was fun to see, though their accessibility was disappointing. Their work with the animals themselves is wonderful and if no one in your party has mobility restrictions that make it so they can't step over a small bar or lip, you will have very few issues. They told us they were accessible except for a small lip to get on the concrete (easily done but almost all wheelchairs and motorized scooters, its maybe half of an inch at most). However, the concrete path to stay on grants you access to only about half of it. There's a path to go in between part of the enclosures and see them outside, but there's a bar that unless you can half lift your aid over it, you have no shot of going on. So you can see around half of what others can. The gift shop is tight and some bigger chairs or carts could struggle. My biggest complaint though was the bathroom. I mean, really, its so tight amd small. I got out of my cart to use it, and it was so tight. No one who would need their aid in the bathroom with them would have any shot at it. I don't think even crutches would fit well, you'd have to carry them instead. Even most people who are larger wouldn't be able to fit. I'm smallfat, and it was a squeeze. In all, the place was run very well, they just have some major accessibility issues. I wouldn't even mind too much if they didn't claim to be accessible without actually being accessible. Anyways, photos of one of the sweet barn cats.
