Having used realtors other than Mary in my life, I can see quite clearly how uniquely skilled she is at this job and how valuable her guidance is. When I use Merry, I actually dont mind the realtor fees because of how good she is at critical aspects of a listing such as; 1) How should it be staged, shown, and advertised in order to get the kind of buyer we are targeting? 2) How do you price it high enough to wind up in a good place but not so high that you discourage traffic (not easy to nail)? 3) How to negotiate well, meaning maximizing the odds that you get what you want by being both firm where you really need to be but not alienating or offending the buyer (also a delicate balance). Ill also add that she helped me a lot with home related errands and projects that were DEFINITELY outside the scope of what youd normally expect your agent to do for you. Home transactions can be emotional, stressful, and are large financial events in your life - if you dont get the right person in your corner the process can be miserable. Ive lived that out before. But Im happy to report that with Merry, the process was incredibly smooth, emotional toil was minimal, and economic outcomes were great. Id send my family and friends to her with confidence that Im providing them great advice.

The thought of moving our family of five, from Manhattan to Connecticut seemed like such a daunting and stressful task. We were so lucky to have Merry, to help navigate and guide us through this entire process. After our first phone call to discuss our wants/needs and wishlist items, we knew she would be the one to help us find the perfect home for our family. Being in NYC made the process of seeing houses as soon as possible, a bit difficult. Luckily, whenever something new came on the market, we could always count on Merry to give us her professional opinion, and then always offer to schedule a viewing, while facetiming us.
