        I have lived in Westport for 2 years trying to get decent wifi since everyone know no cell towers so you life depends on wifi; technicians have come and gone rarely fixed for any duration always spotty; customer service is zero I would say negative they send it off to some call center that are only allowed to do 5 things to help; billing forget it once they bill you even if erroneous! Good luck getting anything corrected; I can say I literally hate optimum; as I sit here without wifi service for 4 days waiting for an appointment and yes this is with their new snazzy fiber optic network; I would say avoid but there aren't any other options; oh and I work for home so it impacts work; they do not care at all

        Within a period of 6 months my monthly subscription to optimum for 300mb Internet service went from $40 to $107 just like that. when I asked why I was told that's how it is.I switched to Frontier fiber optics of 500mb for $40. So far I love it.
