My oral surgery went very well, however be warned that Dr. Howard is not good at placing an IV. He had to attempt MANY times to get my IV in for anesthesia, and after a few unsuccessful attempts, he put me under laughing gas so that he could better dig around my arm for the vein. While I know that I'm a hard stick, I've never had a medical professional struggle so much to place an IV ever. My arms hurt more than my teeth after the surgery, and I had to ice my arms more than my face after my experience under his care. 10/10 oral surgery, 1/10 IV skills.

Dr. Howard is awesome. I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted a week ago and I was mind blown with how quickly and smoothly the procedure went. The recovery has been easy and I have Dr. Howard to thank! I have been recommending him to my friends and family already. The whole team there was so welcoming and made it a safe space.

Dr. Howard and his staff are absolutely incredible. They recently extracted all four of my wisdom teeth, three of which were impacted. The whole procedure was done in about 30 minutes and was entirely painless. Dr. Howard's post procedure instructions were very concise and clear, which I have been following with great success. One week after surgery my tooth extraction sites are quite far along the road to recovery and I feel no pain or swelling. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Howard's office for oral surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Howard and his team. I was extremely nervous to get my impacted wisdom teeth removed. I traveled 35 minutes to be a patient of Dr.Howard because of these reviews and other recommendations. I wanted to also take the time to review my own experience for any others who are panicking about surgery and are seeking the right doctor for them.
I truly cannot say enough great things about Dr.Howard. I was incredibly anxious beforehand; regarding the procedure and he took the time to come and sit down with me prior, taking ample time to answer any question I had, providing me with information, and explained to me exactly what I should expect in a frank and clear way. Dr.Howard and his team completely put me at ease.
It is not just Dr.Howard that made this experience great, when you first walk in the front desk staff are already making you feel more at ease, they could tell I was nervous and helped me feel at ease with their conversations and smiles. The surgical assistants are caring and make you feel comfortable and informed while they prep you for the surgery. If you are a worrier or just someone who has had a bad experience or is scared of surgery- This place really is the best. It is a clean office and the pain I experienced on the first day was 1/10 if that.
The office even called me later that day to check in on how I was feeling; which to me spoke volumes. No one wants to get teeth extracted or their jaw worked on, but its nice to know that you can be in company like this you do! Would HIGHLY recommend.

I have prior dealings with Dr Joseph Howard dating back to 2015 when he removed a cyst in my mouth. He and his staff were outstanding then and remain outstanding today. I had another surgical procedure which involved a tooth extraction. The procedure was quite painful due to other factors beyond the control of Dr Howard. Lets just say we were both troopers who endured the difficulty to achieve the goal. I want to personally acknowledge Amanda Dr Howards surgery assistant who not only recognized me from my 2015 visit but was so supportive and helpful in calming me during the painful parts of my procedure. Her concern for my well being did not go unnoticed. As part of the treatment plan which kicked off with my initial procedure, I have more appointments and a final procedure that will take place next year. I look forward to Dr Howard completing all procedures related to the treatment plan we have agreed upon. Four stars for Dr Howard and his staff.
