ORIGINAL: Beware. They replaced my shower head with one with a long hose. Well the lining inside split and water sprays everywhere. I called to find out it is only guaranteed for one year. Now it will cost me to have a plumber replace it with a new one. I am unable to do it myself. Very disappointing. UPDATE: SHORTLY AFTER POSTING MY ISSUE, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM CMC. Francisc was sent out immediately to fix the problem. He pleasantly replaced the hose/shower head ! Thank you for your positive and quick response.

Francisco and Jordan were fantastic, efficient and totally educated and guided us through our audit and they answered all of our questions in detail. I cannot recommend them enough.Extremely knowledgeable and utterly thorough. If you have Wallingford electric or not, get them to your home. You will be saving money after your energy audit and they can provide huge rebates (they did for me, but if you don't have Wallingford electric I don't know if they are as big) for you to do additional work to seal off leaks and do insulation as well. We get 75% rebate up to $10,000 to insulate our home from them. Incredibly valuable in these trying times and completely preventable economy we all unfortunately live in. (Be sure to read the whole review... the results are amazing! They are going to save me thousands of dollars a years) We bought our house a few years back, which is about 70 years old. As oil prices skyrocketed and we were paying hundred and hundreds of dollars a month to heat the home I decided I needed make a change. Do I get rid of my boiler and transition entirely to an electric heat pump? Do I pay to reseal the house and redo the siding for the entire house... and while Im at it have someone come in and spray insulation into each stud bay? Needless to say that all sounded daunting and super expensive. One day my neighbor told me about CMC and their efficiency audit. She told me that their team comes in and inspects every aspect of your homes efficiency: your fireplace, boiler, your ac condenser, your ac blower, the insulation in your walls etc. So I scheduled an appointment expecting the they could at least identify the points where I was most vulnerable and where ei could start my projects. Phil, Jordan and Bruce showed up at the house exactly on time. They came in and discussed how long they were going to take and exactly what they were going to do. I walked them around the house and showed them where everything was, the AC condenser, the blower, the oil tank, the boiler, the garages etc. and then I went back to work (I work form home). About an hour and half later Phil came to get me to talk about the inspection. He told me that they were able to test the AC, the windows, the doors, my fireplace, my boiler and much more. Apparently, they pressurize (actually depressurize) the entire house using a system of fans so that they can tell where any excess air is leaking in and how much.... Phil and his team not only access, but FIXED right on the spot!!! They installed door deals on all of my exterior doors (even two interior doors that lead to colder utility rooms), they installed door sweeps, they sprayed expanding foam in the far reaches of the attic, they sealed my attic access door, the tested the efficiency of my AC ductwork and even identified an inefficient in my boiler room set up... and fixed it! Long story short, my house was letting in over 3,500 cubic feet of air per minute (yeah they can test for that). By the time they left, they had improved my efficiency by more than 33% to the level required by homes built less than 20 years ago! All this was included in the low price of the inspection. A huge thanks goes out to Phil, Jordan and Bruce for their detailed work and the time they spent to get me button up... and explain what they did and how they did it. this is going to save me thousands of dollars a year!

We had a great experience with CMC. Phil and Blake were very professional and personable and even interacted with my kids, which made the day enjoyable. Everything was explained clearly, and they did a great job cleaning up. We were sad to see them go! We will definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Absolutely amazing work! They showed up on time at 8:15am as promised and were extremely thorough. First, they went around and did an audit of our main floor and found our house was leaking air through the attic. Once the audit was done, they got to work sealing the holes. Reduced our overage by 50%! They took their time, paid attention to details, and took the time to explain everything to us. Then, they tackled our hvac systems. They sealed a bunch of leaky spaces and told us all the numbers before and after. Important note - they aren't just coming in to do an audit; they are there to fix as much as they can, too! Be prepared for them to be at your home for a full 6-8 hours if your house needs work. We are excited for the next phase, which is aerosealing our ducts. I'll post an update once that is done, but I'm confident it will go smoothly as well.
