Bencar was a great choice for our new deck installation. They were right in line with 2 other quotes we got from local contractors. Mark and Nancy the owners are wonderful people who are trustworthy. Lisa in the office always responded to calls and emails in a timely manner and answered our questions along the way. Evan, Rocky, Craig, and Greg were the builders for our particular project. They were all friendly and did a great job. The work was done in an organized way, and the job site was always cleaned up before they left for the day. We would highly recommend Bencar for any home remodeling project!

Our full kitchen renovation project was recently completed by Bencar Building Systems LLC and we couldn't be happier. From beginning to end they are a fantastic contractor to do business with on this type of project. Their attention to detail was obvious from our very first estimate appointment and continued the entire way through the project. We have worked with many contractors over our 24 years in our home and have dealt with several contractors who act like they are doing you a favor, don't follow up, and don't adhere to schedules. Bencar is collaborative, responsive and attends to every detail. When we started exploring contractors for this job we approached two other kitchen remodeling companies and they both presented obstacles at the outset with poor follow up, not listening to our goals or worse designing the kitchen they thought we should have instead of the one we wanted. Bencar was the obvious company to work with right from the beginning as they explained in detail how they would perform the job, walked us through the process, referred us to the team at Bender in New Haven for cabinets, counters and fixtures as well as a great kitchen designer in Daryl. The planning stage was incredibly smooth. The construction phase was equally smooth with our crew of Evan and Rocco with support from Lisa, Mark, Nancy and Cody in the office and in the field. Bencar has a great reputation in the area and they lived up to that reputation. Within two hours of day one of construction we knew for certain we had made the right choice. Everything was so wonderfully executed and it was impressive how seamlessly all the different parts fell into place from deliveries, to tradesman arrivals, to demolition and on site necessities.Very clean work and absolute respect for our home. We had very high expectations for the finished product and we can honestly say the finished product has exceeded our expectations! We would strongly recommend Bencar Building Systems for your kitchen remodeling project.

Cannot recommend Bencar enough. They completed our basement renovation on time, with clear communication and check-ins along the way. Every member of their team was professional and courteous. Then, when there was a complication over six months later due to flooding (through no fault of Bencars the town inspector had made them install insulation in a way that Bencar thought was foolish, but they had to comply), Bencar worked with our waterproofing company to fix the problem. They spent hours of work without any charge to us. What could have been a disaster and resulted in us as homeowners having to convince them to do the work was instead a smooth collaboration between Bencar and the waterproofing company. We will use them again and recommend them widely!
