Shockingly sub-standard. Very alarming to see the low calibre of judges who have neither any knowledge of the law or any interest in applying it. Everything is personal and depends on the judges moods or who his /her lawyer buddy is, which is not how it should be at all. Staff are rude and if you are Pro Se , their favorite cringey thing to say is that they are not allowed to give legal advice. They will endlessly spout this even when you are not remotely asking for advice. Even a third world country like India has a much higher standard of judiciary. The only hope for U S citizens is if AI takes over the legal system ,like in China and these nasty old fools will be out of jobs.Very sad state of affairs.

Worst place ever if you are a male fighting for your children, you will lose every single time dont bother trying at this courthouse find a different town or move to a different town and use their court system to try to see your kids. If you come here, they will screw you every single time! If you come to this courthouse, you will lose your children. Ive seen it happen so many times over and over. Its happening to myself now and its happening to one of my best friends. This is the worst court system in Connecticut to fight to try to see your kids.

My experiences here have been very good. The staff in every department were very helpful. Peter is amazing. Kevin is a great sheriff and helps people in need. Everyone is polite and helps with your situation. Nice law library too.
