Oriental Bar and Grill

We went here for lunch on Easter and it was incredibly busy and that's fine. There were eight of us and we waited about an hour to get seated. Then after 30 minutes of no attention whatsoever, I had to get up and ask for menus. People that came in after us had already ordered and received food. Then another 30 minutes after that I had to find someone to take our orders. He was rude, barely looked at any of us and ended up getting most of the order wrong anyway. No soy sauce, no sweet and sour sauce, missed an entire entree, etc. The whole time we were very patient. No complaints, no fuss. But it was like we didn't exist. Then, after we ate we waited another 15 minutes before I had to go ask the manager for the check. I paid and didn't leave a tip. I ALWAYS tip. But this wasn't service, there was nothing to tip for. I had to get the menus, I had to get the check, I had to chase down people. At no time did anyone even check on us. Then, the manager sends the rude waiter to chase us down outside and ask why we didn't tip. Well I told him why and he didn't take it well. Blamed everything on his manager, took no responsibility. Acted like he was entitled to a tip regardless of his performance. Yea, I don't think we will be coming again.

My family and friends have been going to Oriental Grill since they opened. Customer service is on point. This is the only place I will eat sushi. It's always fresh and delicious. Update: Easter Sunday 3/31/24 Service was the worst I'd ever experienced anywhere. Waited, seated for over 45 minutes and still had to hunt down a server or (anyone for that matter) for menus, food, condiments, everything. For being extremely busy the bar was closed. The slamming of the plates when the tables are being cleared is awful. Food was cold and order was incomplete / wrong. I have to say this was so upsetting. I was so embarrassed for the server who didn't serve us at all- ran after us for a tip. Are you joking? He gave us ( party of 8) more attention in the parking lot than he did in the restaurant! Shame on you. Do not recommend -

We went to this restaurant for Easter as the owner and his brother are friends of my father. It was distasteful and truly I was disgusted. We were a party of 8 and we had waited 30 minutes to get a table. Then were seated and noone gives us menus or addresses us. 45 minutes later we had to steal menus from an empty table. There were all these beautiful Asian dishes being carried out in steamer baskets and on plates to tables full of Asian families. We finally had to stop the waiter and ask if we could at least get drinks and we put in orders for appetizers. What we got is plates of sushi with no chop sticks no sauces and 3 plates of hard crab rangoon. Then our entres came out as cold limp take out. After I had just seen all these beautiful dishes, our food as white Americans was standard, lunch take out. Totally unacceptable. So we never saw our waiter again, no dishes were cleared,we were not attended to,no desert for this family outing and 2 hours later,we had to ask the manager for the bill and take out containers for our dry,cold food. The waiter then had the nerve to come out of the building, chase us to our car and ask where his tip was. My response was, no service, no tip. I was just disgusted with the whole experience. And it's sad, because the owner and his family are good people, unfortunately their staff dropped the ball in how they treated us. You should treat every customer with respect, whether they are of your race or not. Because you never know who's associates they are. We would Never recommend this place to anyone.
