I regret having to write a review that is so low because the receptionist and nurse were very kind and extraordinarily helpful, and the Doctor that I had an issue was still very informative about my condition despite mistreating it (the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1). HOWEVER, all things considered I don't think you should play around with your health and if you think you've got something serious I would NOT recommend meeting with Dr. Kilgannon at this location. I went in for a throat infection and was told by the doctor that I had some of the most swollen tonsils he'd ever seen (my right tonsil was/ is so enlarged it covers half of my throat by itself). He wrote me a prescription which I took for a few days with 0 improvements. I slept and ate very little in this time because of the pain and swelling (I don't blame the doctor for not being concerned about my pain-level, I didn't advocate for that because I have a pretty high pain tolerance and that early on I felt like the Aleve he recommended would be plenty. It wasn't, but I don't fault the doctor for that.) I was instructed to return if I didn't see improvements, but something told me I would be better off going to the clinic back in my hometown. This second doctor took one look at my prescription from Dr. Kilgannon and told me that the dosage was meant for a CHILD, and immediately wrote me a prescription for nearly double the amount of amoxicillin. The second doctor even made it liquid (unprompted, I wouldn't have even thought to ask) so I'd have an easier time swallowing. He also prescribed me steroids to help get the swelling of my right tonsil down, something that Dr. Kilgannon neglected despite it being the same size as when I'd seen him. It is now the morning after my first day on the new medication and I've already felt a much greater improvement. I'm frustrated that I paid to get treatment that functionally did nothing despite the fact that both doctors had the same thing to say about my condition.
