Russo Plumbing, Stamford CT   They arrived 2-hrs. late, eating a sandwich, and without tools.  They disappeared for 20-minutes and came back with some make-do equipment.  The on-the-clock 'helper' didn't do anything and just prevented seeing what the plumber was doing. Don't get a helper.  Leaving, they left some of the equipment loose and left the face plates off the wall allowing water to go into the wall.They overcharged almost $200 on a shocking $800 bill which they removed when I protested.  Always get an estimate, even on the small jobs.  They did send someone back to finish the work, but even though I told the second plumber to make things so the tightness lasted, he didn't.  He said OK, but a week later, his bubble gum dried out and the looseness returned,  (I blame the make-do equipment which should have been replaced.)  Pre-hiring attempts to find a review like Yelp were unsuccessful.  They must use some sort app to fill up the google pages with their own Ads.  The small job was a nightmare.  I would not ever use them again.- Bob B.(This is my 1st Yelp, which kinda popped-up.  Wish I had visited before to a.) find out who's bad, but also b.) to find out who's good.

I called for an estimate in April. The person came on time for the appointment. However, in 5 months I have never heard back from anyone. I called them 2x and was told "I'm sure he'll get back to you by the end of the week" without anyone taking my information. Then a 3rd time I called and left my info, still no return call. I can understand not being able to do the job for whatever reason. What I cannot understand is lacking the courtesy of a 1 minute phone call to tell me that.

Ralph Russo plumbing has been to our home twice now. The work that was completed was done well - and the plumbers moved fast while on our property.  They addressed leaky toilets, installed a LeakDefense system, replaced the kitchen sink faucets and replaced a faulty hot water valve under the kitchen sink. I will be using them again
