Dr. Komarynsky delivered our child. As I read the reviews here there are no surprises. She listened to what I wanted and communicated well with us throughout labor and delivery 22 years ago.

Dr Komarynski is not my actual doctor, I just had meeting with her in case if she is the one in hospital on my labor time, And I can say I was amazed by her in so many ways, she had so much patient with mu questions and answered them all in detailed way, she gave me so many informations and I really felt so good and heard . I just wanted to put this review here cause I really appriciated her today. She was amazing.

My 7 children (3 boys, 4 girls) were delivered by 7 different doctors -- in 6 different hospitals -- in 4 different states (CA, NC, TX, CT)! They were all natural deliveries (despite being in hospitals) and, I can say without a moment of hesitation that Dr. Irene Komarynsky was the "best of the best" by far! She delivered our 7th child 18 years ago at Stamford Hospital and was so wonderful that I still reminisce fondly over her handling of the delivery. One thing that really sticks out is that Dr. K listened to me: as labor progressed and the moment of birth was approaching, she sat back and said "YOU tell me when you're ready to push; you've done this before; you know your body better than I do!" Also, Dr. K was there for me when I needed her during those 9 months. When I had a couple of false labors, she welcomed me to the office to check, and patiently spent time discussing. I felt silly for being there during these "false alarms" (you'd think after 6 kids you know when labor is happening - but, they're all different!) but Dr. K made me feel totally fine about coming in and was glad that I had. As for the staff, Karen is kind, professional, competent, and so very helpful in all ways. Dr. K has been my gynecologist for these past 18 years and I love her. She is thorough, takes her time at every appointment (asks lots of excellent questions), listens to me, and always has a friendly assistant working with her. So, there's the secret ladies - Dr. Irene Komarynsky!
