The Stop & Shop in Bedford St is my favorite grocery store in Stamford, I do shop every week. Also, good employee, easy location, huge parking lot, good promotion, fresh stuff, etc

The self checkouts are absurdly loud and the function(thats available at every other grocery store) to lower or turn of volume is disabled to customers. As an autistic highly sensitive individual who would prefer minimal human interaction, this is a sensory nightmare. Could be a simple solution of enabling this function to customers. And when theres more than one person checking out in the self checkout it gets unbearably loud
