Fairfield Contractors didnt just build my wife and I a house; they built us our home. We are extremely happy with the result. We would definitely work with Fairfield Contractors in the future and we certainly recommend them. The owners John and Jim are skilled professionals. Even more important, they are good, honest people. We started our project with John and Jim during all the craziness and uncertainties of the initial COVID pandemic. John was there with us at every step of the way and proved early on we could rely on him to build our home. We worked with Johns company ModSquad to design and build our home from scratch. We had a good experience during that initial phase. For ground work and construction, John did his best to stay within budget during all the craziness of the post-COVID price increases. It wasnt all roses; things do go wrong during the construction process. Things happen. When we had difficult but necessary conversations, we felt respected and heard. That said, I was most impressed by Johns ability to resolve the issues that arose while building our home. Some of the problems we faced where not at all easy to resolve. Nevertheless, John took responsibility and pushed forward to find a solution. He went beyond the extra mile. Hes a professional and got it done. We love our new home and couldnt imagine living anywhere else. We would definitely work with John and Jim again. Bernardo who works with them was excellent and reliable. We are grateful we hired these professionals and definitely highly recommend them to others.
