Benchmark at Stamford

The staff was very attentive to my mother-in-law and our family from the day she moved in to the day she passed. They were very helpful as we cleared out her apartment. Thank you Sunrise staff.

During the 4 months my mother was in Memory Care at Sunrise, she was well cared for and treated with respect. The team is very kind and compassionate and the residents are all lovely. Sunrise of Stamford is a small, homey environment and we enjoyed moms time there more than the high rise facility down the street, which turned out not to be a good fit for my mother. If you are looking for a small facility with caring people, this is the place. If you want new and shiny, this is not it. I only wish I had moved my mother here 18 months ago when she first went into Assisted Living.

We came to Sunrise of Stamford to look at this facility for a family member and Andrew showed us around, answered a ton of questions and we walked away feeling confident and well informed that this was a great establishment run by excellent staff! There was a real feel of community that was engaging, outgoing, well taken care and looked after-

The community is staffed with loving care givers, professional nurses and accomplished administrators. The families become friends with one another and the residents are provided with entertaining stimuli that offers enrichment. The grounds are well maintained, private and full of walking spaces & gardens. Pet friendly too!
