Ellie's Farmhouse

We have been looking forward to trying Ellie's Farmhouse! 10/10 recommend. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and portions are on point. Thank you so much for opening a new breakfast and lunch spot right down the street from where we work. We will be ordering often!

Went here with my dad, so I'll attribute more of how I felt but also incorporate how he felt since we're both huge fans of good breakfasts. Food - Both got meat lovers omelettes, dad got marble rye and homefries, I got sourdough and hashbrowns. The meat lovers omelettes were semi unbalanced, my dad said his was more of a meat likers omelette yet I couldn't even get mine to stay on my fork because it was more of a meat really really lovers omelette(not a bad thing, more for me) The toast on both sides was fantastic, and he had mixed opinions about the homefries but the hashbrowns were probably some of the most flavorful hashbrowns I've had at a breakfast place, I'll definitely be getting those more soon. Even though my dad said it wasn't the greatest, I'm gonna give it 5 stars anyways, because it's only been here for 3 days and I'm not expecting perfection. Service - Not sure what our hosts name was, medium build curly-ish blonde haired woman but was super friendly. Keith, our waiter, was extremely timely and friendly; he did a really good job at making sure we felt welcomed, took our order/drinks in a very quick manner, and was very attentive. Atmosphere - Honestly, probably one of the most beautiful interiors to a breakfast building I've seen in this town. It's very homely, very welcoming, and it makes you feel like you're in a very well established diner. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone in town.

I had SUCH a great experience at Ellies Farmhouse today! The food was excellent. Im still thinking about my burrito and crispy hashbrowns. My kids waffles and French toast were great too. I had 3 kids with me, and they can get wiggly, but the service was quick, so we got in and out before they had time to get antsy. We left happy and full! I will be back soon. There is so much on the menu I want to try!

First time there today and loved it. Breakfast Burrito was excellent. Even though it was extremely busy, everyone was attentive, friendly and helpful!

Ellie's Farm House is a new addition to Southington's dining scene, offering both breakfast and lunch. The new restaurant is located in the former location of Que Whiskey Kitchen. The restaurant has an industrial modern interior aesthetic complete with a bar area, dining section, and a promising patio for warmer days. The menu is divided into 2 sections, a breakfast section and a lunch sectionthere is something for everyone. There are burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and all the classic breakfast staples like eggs, bacon, waffles, and pancakes. The drink menu offers both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. During my visit, I indulged in their Grand Mimosa, which was made with Prosecco, fresh squeezed orange juice, and Grand Marnier, perfectly complemented by complimentary apple slices dusted with cinnamon and sugar. For my main dish, I chose the Farmhouse Platter, which came with 2 cage-free eggs , pancakes, and bacon. Everything was really delicious. I noticed on the menu there is the option for gluten-free alternatives. I definitely recommend stopping by Ellie's Farm House for a quick bite during the week or brunch on the weekend. They have great service, food, and atmosphere. *They also have a location in Massachusetts. Parking is available. Dietary restrictions: The menu stated they have gluten free items available.
