I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Barzoi. My mother has been a patient of Dr.Barzoi in his dental office and had the best experience in terms of his dental work. He explains all procedures thoroughly and patiently listens to all questions and concerns. Dr.Barzoi is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind with outstanding skills. Highly recommended!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Dr. Barzoi is truly an amazing dentist who is kind, knowledgable and extremely professional. I knew I was in good hands within minutes of meeting him. He took the time to discuss all of my options and made me feel confident with my decision. He went above and beyond to make sure my smile was perfect. I could not recommend him more!

I came to Dr. Barzoi to re-make an old crown on one of my front teeth and he is the definition of perfectionist!! So much detail and care put into making sure the crown fit well and looked good. He doesnt take shortcuts and is very straightforward in his approach.

I want to believe that this dentist is interested in serving the greater good, but that is hard to believe after my experience. I didn't feel like he was seeing me as a human with unique needs. I felt like I was being treated as a number. It began with his response to my personal request that he surgically remove my tooth. I explained that my roots are extremely long and every dentist in the past struggled to extract it the normal way before finally giving up and surgically extracting it. I have severe TMJ as a result. But I didnt get to finish explaining that before he cut me off to say, Yeah, yeah. I know what Im doing. After which he proceeded to extract my tooth the hard way, as if taking my request as a challenge. My TMJ is once again significantly worse. I understand there is likely standard protocol for these things, but it should also be standard protocol to listen to your patients who know their own body better than the doctor ever could. Immediately after the extraction he began bone grafting for a future implant. When he pulled the syringe away, it left a spike. He failed to notice this spike was aiming directly at my gums and sutured my gums closed with that spike stabbing into me. He struggled greatly to get the final corner of the protective lining over the bone graft. When his assistant came by, she also noticed this and said, Hey. That needs to go in further. but his reply was, Dont worry. I know what Im doing. He left the lining as it was. For the next week I experienced level 10 pain which I thought was the result of the protective lining he installed over the bone graft incorrectly. When I came back to him telling him it feels like I have a scalpel stabbing into my gums, he simply told me its normal to feel pain. I specifically asked him to remove the protective lining because I thought that was causing the pain due to that last corner he struggled to install. Instead, he decided to just snip off the edge that was sticking out which only made the problem worse. That night I decided to tear out the lining myself to end the excruciating level 10 pain. Thats when I discovered the bone spike stabbing into my gums. So I set up an appointment to see him again to have that taken care of. When I got there and explained that to him, at first he didnt believe there was spike there and wouldnt even look to confirm. I sat there in dead silence and disbelief contemplating my next move when he finally changed his mind and decided to break out his camera and take a look. He found it and took a picture to show me and thank God for that because I dont know how I would have reacted if he didnt. Finally, he proceeded to remove the bone spike. But for some reason he didnt stop there. He removed all of the bone grafting he installed, which seemed entirely unnecessary. But he also ended up leaving behind a sharp bone spur against my tooth and a razor sharp blade of bone where the bone graft used to be, both of which sliced up my gums for the following week, causing yet more level 10 pain until my gums finally worked their way in and broke the bones down so they could finally heal. I have never felt more tortured in my entire life, and I have been tortured by many dentists. I want to believe that everyone is a good person, but after this experience I can only believe that it was intentionally malicious. A few months later, I went to Texas to see my dentist friend who is also an implant specialist, for a second opinion. She immediately noticed that my jaw is too narrow and has too much of an overbite to install implants yet. She informed me that I first need to have my jaw widened and brought forward to cure my sleep apnea and teeth grinding before I could safely have implants. Otherwise the teeth grinding would destroy the implants and potentially break my jaw. This dentist didnt pick up on any of that, which brings his professional knowledge into question.
