I brought my car in for a blown turbo. Turbo was replaced (took 6 weeks, though I understand sourcing parts for my car is difficult due to age and that it was a limited run engine model). While replacing the turbo I was told a CV axle was broken and thus replaced. Oil change was done along with new filter. They also informed me that when the turbo was replaced they also replaced the EGR cooler (not broken, and this was not listed on the itemized bill). I was informed they gave MY car's EGR cooler to someone else who was in need of one. Not sure why that was considered appropriate considering they did not ask me or inform me of this until after it was already done. After picking up the vehicle, I noticed a significant oil leak that was not present before (it burned through 1 quart of oil in the 1 week I had it). I noticed significant issues with power to the vehicle that would not make sense given it had a new turbo, and it also began having symptoms of a broken axle (I've been working on cars my whole life and can recognize signs of a broken axle). The only reason I brought it in was for a blown turbo to be replaced. They did not tell me about replacing the axle until after I picked it up which cost me an extra $200+. Brought vehicle back after noticing aforementioned issues, they refused to believe the axle was a problem and told me that the oil pan leaking was also not caused by them. They said the noise was due to the undercarriage cover flopping around (never had this issue in the 80k miles I've put on this car). They did nothing to fix the leaking oil pan drain plug. Broken axle noise went away, presumably because it cooled off and the bearing stopped rubbing, and they sent me away, only for the noise to come back halfway home. Turned around and they told me to bring it in for a full diagnosis. I did so, and they confirmed the axle was making the noise and allegedly replaced it with yet another new one. Noise indicating broken axle came back within 3 days, leading me to believe it was not replaced at all. I replaced the axle myself at home with the original axle that was in when I brought it to them (thankfully they let me keep that one) and the noise has been gone for 3 weeks. I'm now having issues with the EGR cooler tube leading to significant boost leak and power loss, so I'm assuming they gave me someone else's faulty EGR cooler (probably the broken one from the car they put mine in). I would give 0 stars if I could.
