Overall frustrating experience with scheduling the appointment - was rescheduled on me a few times. The last time when I went in for the appointment they said they had nothing for me in the system. I had to take time off work, reschedule (luckily they had something for the same day, but different masseuse) and come back later that day. I hate to provide bad reviews but I feel like I was looking forward to this massage for so long and was highly disappointed. I left more stressed and uncomfortable than I arrived. It seems that most reviews are stating they continue to reschedule people's appointments for ridiculous reasons. the night before. I understand some things are out of your control but it seems like most people are having the same scheduling issue.. Regarding the actual massage, I had a prenatal so I understand you cannot receive deep tissue during pregnancy but it felt like he put lotion on my shoulders, arms and legs and lightly rubbed it in. For $130 I expected a much different experience! Save your time and money and go to a spa that is not a franchise. Maybe they don't get paid well because it certainly seems no one cares about anything but money there. Go to a private spa and save a ton of money. I went in for my 10am appointment with the prenatal specialist (female requested at first) only to find out they never confirmed my appointment in the system! They said they never confirmed the appointment after we spoke & although that masseuse comes in at that time, she is already booked. I was beyond frustrated since I know I had this date, time and masseuse in my personal and work calendar for almost a month! I had to request time off so I made sure to follow up with those details with work right away. I had to come back at 3pm with their male prenatal specialist. Not my first choice, I did prefer a female but was so overwhelmed from taking time from work. I was stressed, and felt obligated quite honestly. Now to the massage... Maybe I was looking forward to this massage for too long and had high expectations but the experience was underwhelming. The massage pressure was EXTREMELY light. They mentioned it is because of the pregnancy but I could have gave myself a better massage. My doctor said this was perfectly safe to receive a prenatal massage as deep or gentle as you like as long as its not too deep in the legs (because of blood clots) and as long as it does not hurt which is completely understandable. I was expecting to feel better physically and mentally after the massage - the only thing that felt lighter was my wallet at a hefty $130 plus $20 tip price tag! I am so mad I paid so much for that experience. I will NOT be returning or recommending them to anyone.

Highly disappointed with the Shelton location. I was gifted a $145 gift card by partner for Valentines Day and to my surprise I had a TERRIBLE experience. Poor customer service from the front desk, even the massage therapist. My massage therapist took me back 5 minutes later than my app time (not including undressing time) appointment time was 1:00pm, I was taken back at 1:05. I undressed & then she came in the room and started my massage at 1:12pm. My Massage was rushed, she ended my service at 1:55 (even though she was 5 minutes late?!) she worked on my legs, arms, and back for at MOST 1 minute each! Not to mention, when she was working on my neck & shoulders, she was huffing & puffing which sounded like it was a chore for her. Her medium pressure was FAR FROM IT! Also a full body massage should include hands and feet right? WRONG! Not at this place! she didnt even touch them! Ive had many massages in the past with different companies & this pressure was unacceptable.I could have had a better massage from my boyfriend who gifted this to me in the first place! This was terrible, by the end of my massage she gave me NO FEEDBACK, it was almost like she was too good to talk to me. Eventually, word got back to the manager who said they can offer me a free add on (10$) on my next service.?! this has to be a joke. This isnt even HALF of my experience. Im so upset and will NOT be recommending to my family and friends. This is a luxury service, when people spend their hard earned money better service and accomadations shouldnt even be a question. Something needs to be done with this franchise.

Signed up for this membership for years. Have currently not been able to use my membership for over two years which is my own fault. Canceled my membership well before my monthly subscription was taken out of my checking account this month. Was charged anyway and was told I could not be refunded because they did not close the account fast enough. Sabrina you fail as a general manager. I gave your branch more than $2000 for unused massages and had no problem eating that and you cant give me an $80 refund because you were too slow to process paperwork? Thats crazy. Dont go here. they dont care about you or your hard earned money. The massage therapist were great, management is horrendous

I have been to Envy Message in the past and it was okay. I like getting a message once in a while, and this time my husband got me a message here including hands and feet exfoliation. Message is $130 plus $30 for exfoliation $160 plus tips. It came to $190. If you pay $190 for a message you expect something decent. Chanelle did such a bad message. No pressure at all as if she was just applying lotion on my body. When she started putting lotion on my legs, I thought she was just getting myself hydrated but NO it was the actual message. From there I figured that is how it was going to be the whole time. She then did my back no pressure at all. She spent quiet a while applying the things for exfoliation, not to say that I was 5 mins late and then it took another 15 mins to get into the supposed message. So the message started around 2:20pm and ended at 2:59pm. I mean $190 for 39 mins and just having someone hydrate my body and not a message for stress relief or to relax make you feel as if they robbed you. My nail tech gives a better 15 mins message for just $20. The place I normally go is amazing Wellness Boutique.
