        Someone gave a nice pair of Pilla Golf glasses. Over a year later the lens got scratched, when I call Pilla they said to send it to them that it was under warranty. I was surprised! I overnighted the glasses as requested. I got a call back that the warranty price for the lens was $80. I was surprised again because I thought if it was covered under warranty it would be for free. When I expressed my frustration they reduced the price to $50. Being upset I told them to just return the glasses. I had to call again a month later to see where were the glasses. The right thing to do I inform the customer of a possible charge or better yet replace the lens. If I was informed originally I would have paid the $50.
