I have been going to Dr R Baratz for over twenty years now.Thanks to him my mouth is in excellent shape .He is one of the most caring and compassionate people that I know.Few people know about all that he does for people as he never talks about it.He has always been there for any dental crisis happening to me and my family.I highly recommend him.

Dr. BARATZ doesn't need your business. My husband had a bad toothache on a Sunday so he had to go to Uconn Dental since they were the only ones open. Uconn did a temporary fix but advised my husband to go see a dentist as soon as possible. Well unfortunately we called Dr. Baratz for a appointment. When my husband explained that he had to go to Uconn over the weekend, Dr. Baratz told him flat out to go to back to Uconn. Dr. Baratz refused to see him. I can't believe this man. So, I guess he wanted my husband to suffer and wait for him to open his office on Monday and maybe get an appointment. I would suggest you guys go where your business is wanted. This Dr Baratz takes pleasure in being a nasty person. Luckily, our money is wanted elsewhere! Also there are Dentists out there so much better than this idiot.

Used this dentist for all three of my family members. While the Dr. was nice enough he did give my wife a hard time about not having x-rays. As medical professionals ourselves we strongly believe the patient has a say in treatment. My wife was ready to leave and not have the cleaning done when the doctor relented and agreed to do cleaning. We found most of the problem to be in the front office, the women running office can be abrupt and sharp. Also after having a tooth pulled by another dentist my mother in-law wanted Dr. Baratz to just take an x-ray to ensure all the root was out and to make sure all was good but he refused. Said he wouldn't see her if she was having problems from another doctor. My mother in-law was not having problems just simply wanted her regular dentist to make sure all looked well. Overall they were ok but we have requested our records and are on the look for a new dentist. We feel we can get higher quality of care with nicer front office staff elsewhere.
