"We recently had our porch painted by the team at From Top 2 Bottom. We found them to be professional, reasonably priced and timely. Eric was proactive in responding to our initial inquiry and worked with us to schedule the actual work. His team took great care with the garden and left it as neat and tidy as it was when they arrived. While we didn't have the original formulas, Eric was able to match the colors with the body of the house. All in all a good experience and I will hire Eric and his Team in the future as more painting is required."

I had a plumbing leak from upstairs bathroom leaking through to my kitchen below. It was not an easy repair at all due to the age of the house and the plaster repairs needed. Eric was referred by the plumber; I was living on the other side of the country at the time and Eric was absolutely terrific. He scheduled the work with my tenants, performed the work while they were living there - which meant that he had to work around them and keep dust and mess to a minimum. I spoke to him only a couple of times; he also took care of a few other odd jobs such as hanging up blinds.  The work was done quickly and extremely well. You would not know that the leak had ever happened.  He redid the drywall and plaster in a difficult corner, patched, painted, and it looks as good as new. Price was reasonable and fair, and it was greatly appreciated that he was efficient and showed up when he said he would.

If there was an option for zero stars, that is how I would have rated From Top 2 Bottom.  In June I purchased the groupon and called to make an appointment with "Eric" - the owner of this business.  We made an appointment for July 20 for the painting of one room. July 20 came and went and "FromTop2Bottom" never showed. I called them to get an explanation and never received a response.  I emailed the company and two days later received a call and a message saying they were sorry and "busy."  I finally heard back from "Eric" today and his explanation was this: "I only schedule these Groupons for rainy days, that's my availability."  (note: it was raining on July 20, the day I had my appointment).  He claimed that for the Groupons, he only scheduled them "on rainy days" (so, with 24 hours notice?) and that he "regretted ever signing up for this Groupon" and gave me excuse after excuse for BLOWING OFF AN APPOINTMENT that he made and confirmed.  By the way, this "rainy day policy" was not ANYWHERE in the Groupon and I would NOT have purchased it had I been appraised of this ridiculous scheduling policy.Not only that, but I originally told Eric that I had 2-3 other rooms that needed professional painting and asked if he could give me a quote.  AND HE STILL BLEW OFF AN APPOINTMENT.  This guy has no shame and he runs a business like a 10 year old.  At this point, I asked him to check his schedule and call me back with a time that WILL WORK.  I doubt I'll hear back from him.Bottom line: From Top 2 Bottom cannot be trusted to keep appointments and you're better off hiring ANY OTHER COMPANY for your painting needs.
