The Inn at GrayBarns on the Silvermine River

This used to be the Silvermine Tavern, and the last time I was there was in the late 1970s when I was a teenager. So I did not recognize the place this time but the food was delicious. I had heard good things about the crispy fried oyster mushrooms, and indeed, they were amazing. Dont think of the typical greasy deep fry. These mushrooms were light and delicate and the breaded part was more like a dusting of flour. Its hard to explain but what Im trying to say is they tasted healthy and good for you. I had the duck for dinner and my friend had the branzino. She doesnt usually like parsnips but she said the parsnips were delicious. We ate at the Tavern. Did not stay at the Inn.
