I am writing to thank April and Paul in the bakery department for all their help and hard work on December 31, 2023. I had placed and paid for an order approximately 2 weeks prior for 2 large trays of breakfast items for New Years Day. My plan was to just run in and pick the trays up. For whatever reason the order was never filled. April and Paul went to work immediately, as busy as they were, to fill the order very quickly for me. I appreciated they were able to do this since I was on a tight schedule with little time to spare. You both made it work. Again, thank you for all your help. Janet P

Definatly not a price chop! What cost me $120-130 at Stop & Shop is costing me $190-202 here! Half the items are not stocked or what's there is moldy! On top of that casheers will ignore you at check out to scroll on their phones. Will not be returning!

Absolutely worst store ever. I emailed the corporate office regarding an issue in the Newington location. Took over two weeks for them to say the Newington location would be notified and would reach out. Two months later I never heard a thing. Would not recommend this store to anyone.

We've recently moved to Connecticut and were looking for a supermarket that was affordable and had a large selection. Price Chopper Newington has been the closet thing to the large supermarket we're used to. The selection was amazing, the prices very affordable. The best meat and vegetable selection I've seen in Connecticut. The meat was very high quality and the best pricing in Hartford County.
