"We recently had hail come through our area and I noticed a lot of my neighbors were getting their roofs fixed and had numerous companies come out to tell me I also needed a new roof. Having worked with New Canaan Roofing Company and Mike in the past, I asked him to come out and give me his opinion. When Mike came out, the first thing he noticed was that one of my gutters needed a quick repair and before he assessed my roof, he repaired it, right then and there.
Mike then meticulously assessed my roof, explaining various observations and concluded that a brand new roof wasn't necessary but my roof could benefit from some minor maintenance. At this time, I mentioned to him that after a few failed attempts to self-match the paint color in my master bedroom for small cover up project, it was time to call in the professionals and asked if he knew or worked with anyone he liked/trusted.
Mike then did something very unexpected, he treated me like a client and not a transaction. He said he would send his teams to handle the minor roof maintenance AND take care of the small paint job in the master bedroom...FREE OF CHARGE.
Mike could have easily sold me a new roof or charged me for some minor upkeep but he didn't. 10 stars for New Canaan Roofing Company if I could.
