Specialist in foreign car sales and repairs so I thought! Today literally 3/6/24 at 1:45pm. I called to schedule a oil change for my mini cooper. The Owner answered the phone ask my name which my services for the car was not coming up under. I then said well maybe it's coming up under my husbands name. Bingo the service history comes up immediately. The owner then proceeded to say wow u haven't been here since 2021 I hope u have been changing your oil. I said yes I have been, I have a mechanic that does house calls and also has a shop in new haven. What comes out of his mouth next was unprofessional, disrespectful, and down right nasty! The Owner said well why ain't you going to him them. I said are you serious right now, I can take my car anywhere at any time to anyone or place that I want to. He then said no I didn't mean it that way. I said yes you did because you wouldn't have said it. This unfortunately isnt the first time that he has been nasty. The first time we went to him on state street in new haven we were looking at vehicles on his lot and he came out and was very nasty and disrespectful about looking at the cars. My husband gave a review about our experience and he called and apologized once he realized that we were getting our car serviced there. This was and is the final straw. CarHaven does not have to ever worry about me coming back or recommending this business to anyone. This Owner is Nasty, disrespectful, unprofessional with prices that are high and the quality of the work is just Basic! Update 3/13/24 response to the owners response. For starters my name isn't Ms Russell! As my name was made up so is your response to a truthful review! Yes Thank you I will continue to bring my car to my professional machanic. I will be sure not to bring my car to owners like yourself who doesn't have a clue that the small first sign of a great business starts at a very small but crucial beginning on the phone with customer service Which clearly you don't have.
