A warning to those thinking of working at this center... In the 7 months I worked here, the turnover rate was astonishingly high. After I was repeatedly hurt by the children with no consequences, I had to draw the line when a child threw his shoe at me and nothing was done.

WCC is a hidden gem! Both of my children have been attending the Woodbridge Child Center since they were 12 weeks old and I fully trust the centers ability to nurture, love and teach my children. A couple years ago, the center had changes in leadership and there was a lot of staff turnover. Since then, a new director was hired, things have completely turned around and I couldn't be happier! The director is on top of things, highly responsive, and involved in the daily operations of the center. Teachers are creative and caring. As working parents, we especially appreciate the centers long, flexible hours and few holidays and closings! We have found reliable babysitters through the staff and have developed friendships with parents and children at the center. My kids really enjoy the curriculum, activities and proximity to the library, nature trail and fire station. The board of directors is comprised of current parents of children at the center, so the policies are aligned with the needs of families or can be changed. Most importantly, I know my kids are in good hands here!
