I had a WONDERFUL experience buying my "bucket list car" (an Audi A5 Convertible) with Greg and Maggie at Autohaus Inc. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, quick response to all questions and concerns. Easy to work with! I wired the funds on Wednesday and by Thursday afternoon they had the car loaded by transport and my car was delivered to me on Friday at 11am in Ohio. Best car transaction I have ever had. Laughable. Called this morning and asked if the car I was interested in was available. I was told it was. I then explained that I was driving from two and a half hours away, out of state and asked if there would be any reason that I would not be able to leave with this car today. A man rudely questioned me as to how I planned on paying for it, "finance or what?!?!" I told him I was paying cash and he said there would be no problem. I made the drive only to then be told the car has a salvage title. Now I know why he was concerned about financing as I'm sure no bank would touch it with a "marked" title. Woman they're telling us that we would have to have the car inspected in Connecticut and pay Connecticut sales tax. I don't live in Connecticut. Most importantly, there was no way this car could have left today as I had asked before I started. Colossal waste of time. Car is listed with a clean title and an incomplete VIN. It all makes sense now.
