Hilton Garden Inn Milford

Stayed only one night. Check was 12pm and at 10:15am housekeeping walked right into our room and asked if they could clean while we were sleeping. Called the front desk and the girl that answered said she would tell the manager and that was it. Will not be staying there again.

We were reserved to stay at the hotel checking in on a Friday and checking out on Sunday 3/15-3/17. The hotel appearance is nice but the hotel had a very strange overwhelming musty smell like they had water damage recently and it wasn't just on the main floor you could smell it throughout the whole hotel. We weren't given any warning or explanation on why it smelled that way. The hotel is pet friendly which is nice but it didn't have anything provided for pets such as dog beds, bowls, treats. The ice machine on our floor was broken. One of the side doors and a set of doors on the front by the entrance near the restrooms wouldn't even open with the key card which made it inconvenient to walk all the way around to another door. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. We ended up leaving after 1 night instead of staying our whole reserved time and when we went to check out early the gentleman behind the counter was too busy on his cell phone to even check us out he just stated "leave the key on the desk" and didn't even give us an opportunity to explain why we were leaving early (the smell was just too much) and he didn't even ask why we were checking out early or even how our stay was. I was so over it at that point I set the key down and just walked out. We paid full price for 2 nights and only ended up staying 1 night, we wont be reserving here again.
