Worst Postal Delivery people ever!!! I'm staying in Meriden right now and I've never ever experienced these issues living in Wallingford (born/raised/lived)! The postal person has his music cranked daily so I know when he's coming down our dead end road. Does he bother to leave the mail that was scanned & emailed to me via Informed Delivery? NO Does he bother to pick up the mail from the mailbox when the flag is up? ONLY if he has mail to deliver to us that day, otherwise it'll stay in there until I bring it back inside & try again the next day! Does he scan the Tracking Code for our packages so Amazon, eBay,etc as well as myself will know it's been delivered (I always request a text alert via USPS)? A HUGE NO! I've complained via USPS website since they NEVER answer their phone and the response I got from Johnette Crawford (Supervisor Customer Services) saying she's sorry I'm not having a "positive" experience with my delivery. Gee, ya think?! Then Johnette went on to say that the mail is scanned at a Distribution Center so I "may not" get the mail shown in my Informed Delivery emails that same day. WTH? I always got my mail that was scanned that same day in Wallyworld! So that's a load of garbage (being PG13 here). The issues continue daily. Today, I met him at the mailbox. I stood right next to the mailbox and he was about to put our mail (shocked we got it!) into the mailbox when I said "I'm standing right here, you can hand it to me" which he did without looking even looking at me. I then said " Could you please keep the music down when you're delivering mail? I know when you're delivering mail cuz your music is so loud". I was nice as I waiting to gage his reaction so I could also discuss our delivery issues, etc. He freaking drove away! About 10 feet away he yelled something out like "call in a complaint" so I yelled back "Have a nice day!". He proceeded to really crank the music up when he got to my neighbor's house next door. Very mature! And he has to be about 40-50 so close to my age. Dude! If you don't like your job or realize that WE actually would like our mail delivered, mail in the mailbox picked up and scan the freaking Tracking Code for packages, then QUIT! AND while you're at it, keep the stoopid music down! Obviously, with so many complaints here and other USPS reviews I've now seen elsewhere, there's been serious issues with the Meriden PO, their employees at the office and their drivers! Why isn't SOMETHING being done to fix these issues! I'm happy and sad that others have to deal with this cr*p every day like us. Should feel better that we're not alone but sadly it's still not comforting. Final issue (hopefully), it'd be nice to have it delivered around the same time each day. He ranges delivery from 3-9 but mostly 7-9. There have been a few days lately when we've gotten about 5 and yup, I only knew it was delivered "early" cuz of his freaking music being cranked! STOP THIS INSANITY, seriously!!! AND ANSWER THE FREAKING PHONE!!!!!

Horrible.. my package has been sitting at this post office for over 5 days. The post office in my town has even said this is a reoccurring issue.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. They cant even be trusted to have your mail for PICKUP THERE. This is the second package that they have misplaced. They tried to blame it on where I live, but my neighbors have been receiving their packages from USPS just fine. The employees there are so unhelpful and mean, especially the purple haired one. Youll also take forever there because there is only ever one person up front. Dont waste your money here. Should just get shut down

No one EVER picks up the phone. Mail gets misdelivered. I get the mail for people on other streets and my mail containing money orders goes who knows where? When you call to speak to a supervisor, whomever picks up the phone claims to be a supervisor and has a nasty argumentative/defensive attitude. They do NOT want to help, just defend the poor service. Who do we go to? The Post Master General in New Haven ignores any communication-email/calls and actual snail mail complaints. Must be nice to have a cushy federal job answerable to no one.
