ESA Hotel is great, a little pricey, but it's Connecticut, so I can't blame them. The rooms are amazing. I love the beds. The service was ok. I had to wait a little for service. The location is the only bad thing. Nothing is a walk away, and with no transportation, it's harder to get to places.

Nice attentive staff. Room was fair at best. Lamps near beds were broken, refridge was not working. Was going to let the staff know upon checkout but no one attending desk. Rooms: 2 Broken lamps adjacent to beds. Refrige not working. Clean and nice bathroom.

Bedbugs Rooms: Urgent attention is required for facility upgrades. New furniture and carpeting are necessary for all floors. It appears that routine maintenance has been neglected. Management does not seem to prioritize maintenance tasks. Improved cleaning procedures should be considered.

Were kind of limited because we travel with our dog, but this place is gross. Not really for people that are just tourists or passing through. Seems more like a place for persons who are maybe in between housing and staying long term. Reeked as soon as we walked in. Grateful that there werent carpets in the room , but not so reassuring sleeping near the blood stained box spring. Small dog tried to run under the bed because the crumbs and garbage there seems to never have been touched. Apart from polite front desk clerk, nothing about this stay was relaxing.

If you don't plan on getting any sleep, then this is the hotel for you! One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I usually like Extended Stays, but this one is disgusting. The fact this hotel even has a 3.5 review is honestly shocking. Thank god I was only staying here one night. Couldn't wait to check out. This hotel reeks of cigarettes and weed, which is rather ironic given the amount of no smoking signs posted about the building. The guests here seem shady at best. Was riding the elevator with a girl with a giant gash on her head that was bleeding and bandaged. Saw several homeless people outside. Upon checking in, they accidentally gave me a key to the wrong room which was occupied and clearly a horder situation. There was trash piled high. Seems like a security concern getting access to an occupied room. Went back downstairs and they did apologize and got me a different room, but the people upstairs partied all night. I sleep with noise canceling headphones and earplugs and it still kept me up. Called the front desk several times and they did nothing. My sister is getting married in this town, which is why we were staying in the area checking things out. We will be telling all the guests to steer clear of this dump!
