The Wharf Restaurant

One of my favorite shoreline stops. I went to recently with my whole family, and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service! Chef Bobby in particular was a standout - the steak tartare and miso cod he prepared for us were to die for. Everything we got exceeded my expectations. Jolene, our server, was incredibly attentive and kind. She took especially good care of the little one in our group and gave us fantastic personalized recommendations. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly for little ones! They have high chairs and toddler friendly cups.

Overall, it was a great experience and atmosphere. The location was amazing as well. The service was great. It was a blue grass weekend, and they had a live blue grass band and a special menu. Tried their pork ribs and crawfish. Pork ribs we great, but unfortunately, crawfish was served raw. We also tried their fried chicken and poppy seed salmon. Both were delicious. Drinks were well made. Will definitely be willing to give them another try.

Martha was an amazing waitress for us during our Valentine's dinner, came with suggestions when we weren't sure what we wanted and her warm energy made the evening even better. Food and drinks were delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant and Martha to others and will come back again

We have dined here a few times through the years and have been mostly disappointed for a number of reasons. However, my wife received a gift certificate for her birthday so we thought wed give it another try for our 48th anniversary. It had been at least 3 yrs since we have been here. During that time period they have had 2 or 3 new chefs. We were there just the other night. The server was great and the atmosphere is very nice. We each ordered the southern fried chicken entree. The chicken was delicious and the portion size was very generous. We brought home more than we ate. However, We wanted to substitute the two sides but were told that was not possible. If we wanted the sides we preferred we would have to pay extra. We thought that was odd especially for a restaurant that markets itself as high end. We settled on the sides that came with the chicken. The Mac and cheese was tasty but lukewarm. The braised chard was bitter and I dont eat cornbread but my wife commented it was just o.k. The entree was presented on a cutting board which was too small for the meal. The server knowing this brought us two plates for the overflow. Either they should serve the entree on a bigger board or just put it on a plate to begin with. We had a $85 bottle of wine that retails for $37 so the wine is pricey. However, while the overall wine prices tend toward the very high side they did have a wine in the $40s for each category at least. All in all, while The Wharf has improved but still has a ways to go.Maybe well just have a cheeseburger at the bar the next time we go. I guess we always wanted it to be a better experience than its ever turned out to be.

We celebrated my cousins 60th birthday for lunch - stayed 4 hours & had a great time. Even on a rainy afternoon it was perfect. Excellent food & atmosphere & we were well taken care of by Drew - !
