Let me start by saying I really dont like giving bad reviews but I just cant not say something. I went in the store today, Saturday, to look for a birthday gift. There was one other customer in the store, so it wasnt busy. There were four people working in the store. Not one of them made eye contact or even bothered to say hello. Not a wave or a nod! I always like supporting local businesses but I have to say, I wont return here!

Here on vacation and needed a gift ...the shop clerk was very helpful and kind. She was personable and I can see why this business is still around. Thank you. I wish the stores in the area had this warm and friendly attitude. I hope this helps anyone looking to shop in Madison choose your store.

We drove here although it was out of the way as the description said 'antiques'. This is not an antique store, I don't believe I saw a single antique here. It's gift shop items. It's unfortunate that we drove this far but I was happy to find the book 'Mother Beach' here, as I had met the author and love the book. However it is disappointing that this wonderful book is hidden on a bottom shelf! I only spied it as I have it on my coffee table at home so my eye was drawn to the familiarity of the cover.
