First Choice Windows & Remodeling

We used First Choice for a major project, and they were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. From sales (Boku) to installation, they were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The finished work looks great, and cost significantly less than other installers. One caution, watch out for Jander, he is shady and unreliable. Mr. Randy Leeds and his First Choice Company have been extremely irresponsible and have demonstrated a poor example of customer relationship management and a total lack of responsibility.  Our issue stems from the fact that over 15 months ago, when visiting our property, Mr. Leeds committed to replacing the protective sunblock on our bedroom window.  He stated and I quote" Your like family and I will take care of this issue for you!".  As noted that was 15 months ago and no contact.  During this time period we reached by VM to Mr. Leeds with no response.  His office no response.  It does sadden us that after six years of working with Mr. Leeds and having us recommend him to neighbors and friends he would treat loyal customers and supposed friends in this manner.  This is regrettable on many fronts.  Let's hope that after contacting his office today he or they will step it up and remedy this situation to our full satisfaction.Respectfully submitted,Joseph Panaro

I was very fortunate to find First Choice. Randy is a pleasure to work with! What an amazing experience from beginning to end. He replaced 16 windows and a patio door at my house. His crew are highly skilled, hard working, and respectful of your home. When they finish for the day, the rooms look like they werent even there. They will put back the furniture and rugs, hang the drapes back up, and vacuum. Randy was always available and responded to every single question or request. He promised me a painless project, and he delivered. Frankly, had I known it was going to be this easy, I would have done it a year ago. Thank you so much Randy and crew for my beautiful new windows. Highly recommended.

New to the area ,we were fortunate to have had Randy Leeds /First Choice recommended to us to manage construction/remodeling projects on our 1912 house. All Randy's teams are excellent craftsmen from carpenters, plumbers, electricians, cabinetmakers, painters and masons. When appropriate, he engaged an architect. Randy replaced 52 windows with state of the art Pella windows specific to coastal applications. He managed he total redesign/reconfiguration of the entire second level -enlarged the master bedroom with a Juliette balcony ,built a dressing room and two complete full bathrooms.He oversaw the installation of an elevator, building it within dedicated addition.He replaced all the extensive decking around the house as well as the exterior stairs. Randy managed the replacement of the entire heating and air conditioning systems. We highly recommend Randy Leeds because he delivers a top quality job and because he is honest and caring . We always feel that he works in our best interest.

I would give them no stars if I could. The install went well but a few years later we had brown spots inside the windows which we were told is covered by our warranty(and by law) and on one of the windows it's track snapped and doesn't stay open. We have been trying to get them to come out and fix these issues for over 2 years and they have not even set a date. Ever time we call we get some kind of excuse. They (Randy) has been nice on the phone but to get him to commit to do anything he never does. We have sent him all the pictures of the windows he has asked for but still never follows thru. Have left several messages along with actually spoken to him in person several times and he still doesn't set up a date only gives us more excuses. I would not use them as they do not follow thru with their warranty and terms. It pains me to write a negative review however, we would like our windows fixed and feel after 2 yrs we have been more than patient. If this propels them to take some action I will come back and let you know. Update 11/18/20: As of this writing they have come out to measure our windows. We are waiting for them to be installed once they have the windows. We are moving forward and hoping to see good results soon. Will follow up and change our review as this gets remedied.
