I legitly just saw an entire comment section on YouTube, in SpanishGenerically conversating how great this guy is with Investments, clearly there's some shady stuff going on,By the way it was on the World Star YouTube video For baby mml, I've never used this guy so this is not a reflection of his services. But that is definitely a raise for concern

My name is Richard Fogel. I went to the Jeff Erdman Grouo for 2 reasons. First he was listed on Forbes Barrons best wealth managers. Second he is in my state. I wrongly assumed that being on Barrons Forbes top wealth managers meant his performance was outstanding. I was wrong. I only recently discovered that performance on return is NOT a criteria No one ever informed me verbally that performance is not a criteria. Years later I asked my new wealth manager about it. He said no one ever asks me those questions. He referred me to a methodology link. To my surprise return on investment is Not a criteria to be on Forbes Barrons list. My current wealth manager told me almost everyone knows that. I was a bit disappointed that no one verbally informed me of that. I must be ignorant. Nothing stopped Jeff Erdman or anyone on his team from telling me verbally that the Barrons Forbes list has nothing to do with performance. He is not unique to that issue. One has to search and read the criteria carefully to find out. It certainly is not disclosed well up front to the average person. I woukd like to see better disclosure. I would like to see more clarity. It should be posted clearly and transparently on web sites without having to click on a secondary link to search for methodology. Should the selected wealth managers be mandated to post it up front on their web sites ? Yes.
