Bob Van Houten has been doing our taxes for at least 15 years. He has always offered great guidance with our taxes and other matters. I have referred him to family and friends and they have all been very pleased with his service. His wife Lisa has gone out of her way to provide excellent customer service as well. As a former financial planner, I highly recommend the services of Bob Van Houten.

Due to an error on the part of Van Houten & Co, my tax return incurred a late fee, and interest charges. Van Houten & Co not only didn’t offer to reimburse me for their mistake, they have refused to pay any of the penalties or interest charges. There are lots of high quality and honorable accountants in the Danbury, CT area. This isn’t one of them.

WARNING READ THIS REVIEW! This Company Is very Dishonest And also took advantage of a VETERAN and MINORITY Owned Business as ourselves. After Doing Service Repair work on their Brother Printer and after giving us a check for our work we did they place a "STOP PAYMENT" on that Check to Us that is very Dishonest. Which is Upsetting since we left their office With a now completely Working Functioning Brother Printer Yet, sadly, at our expense. No One should have to offer Free Labor cause a company realized that after investing in having their equipment repaired.that they should have invested in a New One. Well. that is Not Our Fault, they should of realized this themselves BUT, Instead they took out their business mistake on Us. So being a Veteran and Minority Owned Business ourselves this really hurts us when a company like this takes their business mistakes out on us. We Served Our Country why should we be abused like this.However, this company feels differently.
